Okay, so the Pretty Little Liars finale was last night and it was AWESOME! So as not to spoil anything for those who haven't seen it yet, I'll leave the review for after the jump.
So last night the girls really didn't have much solo stuff going on, it was pretty much just their group effort to expose Ian as Ali's killer. The side stuff that they had was pretty small, with Hanna's friend Mona continuing to sabotage her relationship with Caleb, Spencer spending time with Toby, Emily finding out her family wants to move to Texas and Aria finding out that her boyfriend's ex is now his co-worker at his new job.
So now, on to the main event: the mystery. In the last episode, the girls found a flash drive with videos of them on it. It seemed that someone has been watching them for quite some time. Only whoever it was watching them was watching somebody else too. The girls found a video of Jenna seducing her stepbrother Toby, saying she would lie and tell people that he was forcing himself on her. The girls ended up confronting Jenna and she said Alison had threatened her with the video, saying she had to leave and if she ever came back to Rosewood she'd bury her.
Well as it turns out, apparently the videos belong to Spencer's brother-in-law Ian and Jenna was talking to him (I think?) saying that the videos had been found and he said he'd take care of it. Well then at some point Jenna ends up making out with the cop that's been following the girls (a total "WTF?!" moment) so it's all kinds of confusing.
In the end Aria, Emily and Hanna are set to confront Ian in the woods (they sent him an anonymous text telling him to bring $10,000 and come alone) and someone else by the name of Logan shows up. Meanwhile, Ian is really at the church confronting Spencer (who had gone to the church to get her sister's phone) and she tells him she knows about the videos. A chase ensues and they wind up in the bell tower of the church, where Ian says he's framing Spencer for Ali's murder and is going to kill her, but make it look like a suicide. They struggle for a bit before a hooded figure shows up and throws Ian off of the balcony, where he gets strangled by the ropes. The other girls show up to the church, having heard the struggle when Spencer called Emily (but had dropped her phone) they think it's over until the cops go into the church to search for Ian and find nothing. They then get a text from "A" saying that it isn't over until "A" says it is.
Overall this was a fantastic episode! Great suspense and the mystery of it all is still going strong. A lot of questions popped up and I can't wait until June 14 for Season 2 to premiere so we can find out more!
