Why So Serious?

Okay, I feel like the first post (which I just posted) was a little...."serious".  And I'd like to just state for the record that things won't always be like that.  On the whole I'd like to keep this a fun blog, but there will be a time or two when things get serious.  After all, that's life!  But if that first post made you think "jeez, this is going to be one boring, serious blog" I ask you to please just keep reading.  I'll have some more lighthearted stuff here soon, I promise :)
